Dicaprylyl Carbonate is a lightweight synthetic emollient for cosmetic formulations.
It is clear, low-viscosity oil with non-greasy skin feel.
This raw material spreads easily and absorbs rapidly on skin surface.

- Appearance: Colorless transparent oily liquid
- Odor: Almost odorless
- Solubility: Insoluble in water; miscible with most cosmetic oils

Application
It is widely used in skin care and makeup products.
Typical uses include creams, lotions, serums and foundation.
It can also be added to body oil, sun care and hair care formulas.
It improves spreadability and reduces the sticky feeling of heavy oils.
Recommended Dosage
Normal addition range: 3–25% of total formula weight.
