Ceteareth-20 is a cosmetic-grade nonionic surfactant obtained by ethoxylation of cetearyl alcohol. With a typical HLB value around 15.5, it acts as an efficient oil-in-water emulsifier, solubilizer and emulsion stabilizer. It is widely used in skincare, hair care and cosmetic formulations to stabilize the emulsion system, improve texture and provide a smooth, comfortable skin feel.
