Insoluble in water, soluble in hot organic solvents.
It has hydroxyl and carboxyl groups on the same molecule.
Good thickening and gelling properties for oil systems.
Excellent heat stability and low volatility.

Application Fields

Cosmetics: Lipstick, lip balm, ointment, oil gel, deodorant stick.
Lubricants & Grease: Thickener for lithium base grease.
Coating & Ink: Modifier to improve film flexibility.
Wax compound, plastic additive, paint raw material.

Recommended Dosage

For cosmetic oil gel: 3% – 12% of oil phase.
For grease thickener: dosage adjusted according to required consistency.
